Welcome to my website! I am a former PhD student and postdoctoral researcher in the Environmental Physics group at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich.
My research at ETH focussed on Southern Ocean phytoplankton biogeography and its implications for biogeochemical cycles, in close collaboration with Nicolas Gruber, Meike Vogt, and Matthias Münnich.
Since January 2020, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research in Bremerhaven, Germany. Within the EU H2020 Project COMFORT, I will work closely with Judith Hauck and Mario Hoppema to assess the impacts of tipping points in Antarctic Bottom Water formation on Southern Ocean carbon cycling.
