Welcome to my website!

I am a PhD student at ETH Zürich studying how acidification extreme events develop in Eastern Boundary Upwelling Systems, with an emphasis on the California Current system. Capturing the physical and biogeochemical processes that drive the distribution and variability of acidification events in these sensitive regions helps to predict how ocean will react to increasing anthropogenic CO2.
This work is part of the X-EBUS project funded by SNF, in collaboration with two PhD fellows Eike Köhn and Urs
Hoffmann Elizondo.
