- Post-doc researcher, since 2014, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zürich, Switzerland, research: The global oceanic uptake of CO2 and its variability on seasonal to decadal timescales
- PhD, Doctor of Philosophy, 2011-2014, University of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom, research title: ”Variability of the global ocean carbon sink (1998-2011)”. PhD research was conducted within the Marie Curie GREENCYCLES II network, funded by the 7th framework program (FP7) of the European Commission.
- Mag.rer.nat., Master of Science, 2008-2011, Karl-Franzens University of Graz, Graz, Austria, research title: ”Air-Sea Gas Exchange (CO2 , O2 ) Under Climate Change”. The research leading to the results of the Master thesis, partly fulfilling the requirements of the above award, has been conducted at the University of Bergen, Bergen, Norway between 2009-2010
